  • If you are on a 192-day contract or less, your first payday will be September 19th. You will receive 12 equal checks on or before the 20th of each month. Because our fiscal year ends on June 30, you will receive your June, July, and August paychecks on June 19, 2026.

  • Certified employees may request a salary advance, which will be issued as a paper check on August 20. No taxes, insurance premiums, or other deductions will be withheld from this advance. Because direct deposit will not be active until September, you must pick up the check in person at the Administration Building.

If you choose to receive a salary advance, the amount received will be repaid through payroll deductions from your monthly paychecks beginning September 20.

    Salary Advance:

    • Repayment: $150 deducted from each monthly paycheck for 12 months ($150 × 12 = $1,800)
  • The two days of New Teacher Orientation on August 3rd and August 4th are in addition to your 192-day contract. You will be compensated at your daily rate of pay for these two days. Please complete the time sheet provided at New Teacher Orientation on both days. Compensation for these two days will be added to your September check.

  • For health insurance, the coverage begins the first of the month following your contract start month if you complete enrollment form the month you start on contract. • Employees on a 192-day contract receive ten sick days each year. Four days of the accumulated sick leave may be used each year for personal business leave, which is defined as personal business that can be taken care of only during the school day. The district also allows for unlimited accumulation of sick leave at the rate of one day per month of contracted time. Days accumulated will be paid according to the substitute salary schedule at the Class II level (currently $120) at the time of retirement.

  • According to Polley JFAA, children of full-time Rogers Public Schools employees who live in Arkansas may attend school in the district where the parent lives or the district where the parent is employed.
